The 17th annual Asian Moon Festival will be hosted in collaboration with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) and the Asian American Student Association at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO AASA). Faculty, staff, students, friends, family, and the entire Edmond and Oklahoma City Communities are invited to experience the Asian culture to celebrate the Moon Festival. Also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, games and arts and crafts will be provided. Two very distinguished emcees, an amazing and skilled DJ, as well as an entire line of entertainment, be happening to educate, advocate, and showcase the Asian cultures. Children will be able to volunteer on stage as the story of the Moon is told, and the 7th annual Lantern Making Contest will continue with prizes as well. Come meet your very own UCO Royalty as well as Distinguished Guest Royalty from other universities. Taste delicious Asian food and learn more about Asian cultures. Do not forget to snap a quick picture with our AASA Panda and stay to witness the traditional Lion Dancing!
