Vietnamese American Community of Oklahoma City and Vicinity will be hosting Lunar Moon Festival on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Military Park (Corner of Classen and NW 24th St) from 4 p.m to 10 p.m.

The Lunar Moon Festival ( Vietnamese: tết Trung Thu) is a harvest festival celebrated by ethnic Vietnamese and Chinese people. The festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with the full moon at night, corresponding to late September to early October of the Gregorian calendar with full moon at night.

We will have Dragon Dances, Traditional Dance Performances, Food Trucks Vendors, Business Booths, Games throughout the event.

We also have Little Miss Vietnam Pageant and Lantern Competition for children. Applications will be available online in June 2018.

This event is free and open to the public. Children will be given free lantern, candles, candies and toys. 1000 gift bags will be distributed that night. First Come First Serve. 

Please come and join us to celebrate Lunar Moon Festival right in the heart of Asian District.
